They want to abolish the tax exemption for Bitcoin and cryptos after a holding period of one year

It may not itch you, as you are not invested anyway. But after that comes gold & silver. Then comes real estate (10 years). Finally come watches, art, vintage cars, spirits, wines and everything else.

In 1999, the speculation period for securities was extended from 6 to 12 months by the SPD and the Greens. In 2009, it was completely abolished by the CDU and SPD and replaced by today's flat-rate withholding tax + solidarity surcharge. More than 14 million small investors and savers are affected by this today. The greedy state is hindering your prosperity and private pension provision.

It may be annoying, but I agree with you:
statutory pension,
* health insurance,
* infrastructure,
* security,
* care,
* education,
* and social security are not available for free and we are also the state that incurs costs. Reforms as quickly as possible.

Privacy Coins

Never let a bear market go to waste.

I've been thinking for some time about buying some privacy coins like $XMR (+0,35 %) Monero and $ZEC (-1,4 %) ZCash in homeopathic doses, and now seems like the right time to do so.

I specifically chose these two because they have a long track record and are also the best known.

I have no intention of making a profit with them; I would hold them like a gold coin to have just in case...

Sure, if they quintupled in value, I'd probably sell some of them, but I'm also prepared to hold them until they're worth nothing if I have to.

I still have a few questions though...

I plan to buy them through a non-KYC exchange and hold them in my own wallet.

If at some point I want to exchange them back into $BTC (+0,07 %) and then sell them, I won't be able to do that through regular exchanges as I will probably need to provide a proof of origin for the BTC.

In your opinion, what is the best way to convert these gray $BTC (+0,07 %) into € or $?

What do you think of privacy coins?

Does anyone have any experience with them?

Just like Zerax says... P2P exchanges or spend.
The only potential problem is that banks now like to cancel your account when transfers from such P2P transactions are received. But that depends on the size, number and the P2P partner(s). If one of them is a criminal and sends you money, that's potentially problematic.

However, you can also sell Amazon vouchers and the like on P2P exchanges, for example. That would be the safer option in this sense.

ZEC & LIT Observations from the Market

just wanted to share what I’ve noticed recently.

$ZEC (-1,4 %) on Binance is trading around $530. It’s been a bit volatile, but there’s some short-term momentum and renewed interest in privacy coins. Feels like traders are picking their spots carefully rather than chasing hype.

On the other hand, new tokens like $LIT (Lighter) are running events on exchanges like BingX.

This isn’t a random airdrop it is more of a trading participation reward. For people who usually miss airdrops or aren’t eligible, this seems like a fair way to engage.

Would love to hear from others is anyone tracking ZEC’s price action or participating in the LIT event? Curious what strategies people are trying out.
