Unfortunately, it wasn't until the weekend that I researched which European companies could fill the European military's capability gap in data communications. Obviously, quite a few beat me to it at the end of last week and have already driven the price of $ETL (+0,66 %) upwards already...
Two strands are coming together here:
1. Short-term closure of the gap left by Starlink in Ukraine.
2. in the medium term, covering the cryptographic data communications of Western military forces on the battlefield, especially in view of the multi-billion euro investment.
Eutelsat is the largest European provider of low-Earth orbit communications satellites and should therefore be well suited to military needs.
In view of the fact that the company is not yet making a profit and the sharp rise in recent days, it is important to keep a close eye on this stock. I will be working with stop prices; the position accounts for 1.8% of my portfolio.
Do you have any alternative European companies in this sector?
