Despite everything, the "new" variant has stood
Fund volume reached USD 2.10 billion as at 12.09.2025 $JEPQ

$WINC may be the more sensible alternative. The future will show. But it should be clear to everyone that JE** ETFs will not necessarily beat the MSCI World in the long term.

@Quiny $WINC I don't know who uses covered calls?

The good man is right, for the "old" CC ETFs, such as QYLD etc
Compare a $SPYI or $TSPY with the underlying - you can see the TR. CC ETFs are not for everyone, and definitely not for investors under 40

Someone who knows his way around and knows what he is doing is welcome to trade covered calls. But there is currently a lot of hype on TT & Co with a lot of misinformation.

Dividend freeze for him with immediate effect. 🙂‍↔️

These ETFs are useful in terms of diversification but not as a single investment

You are right never looked at JGPI like that before. I'm going to sell it when I'm green.
In a longer sideways or downward phase, these things would run like crazy! And I'm not talking about Liberation Day or Corona, but about phases that last longer than a few weeks. (Approx. 1.5-2 years) Historically, there have always been such phases, but unfortunately investors who started investing after 2012/2013 are not familiar with them. I see it as a small hedge/side bet that we will see such a phase again soon. But it is also just a small addition

@DividendHawk The defensive aspect can be understood, but if so a better option would be a min vol ETF.
