Crypto is doomed

Does anyone still doubt that Trump will hurt crypto and Bitcoin, not help them? If the scurrilities surrounding TRUMP and MELANIA coins weren't enough for you ( https://www.wiwo.de/finanzen/geldanlage/trump-und-melania-die-trumps-lancieren-eigene-memecoins-und-pumpen-den-kryptomarkt-nach-oben/30175352.html ), I recommend the rug pull with a TikTok meme coin by Ryan Fournier, the chairman of "Students for Trump", who has just earned 700,000 USD

And was there actually a crypto decree on day 1? Serious question, I didn't find anything about it.

I'm sticking to my guns: $BTC (-0,35 %) will go back to 50k or below under Trump

As far as I know, he has not said a word about Bitcoin or crypto and has not signed a decree. He didn't pardon Ross Ulbricht either. But he did pardon 1,500 of his people who stormed the Capitol back then😅

EDIT: I would still bet a beer against it😘 I don't see the 50k this year... but the 150k😁

@stefan_21 I read somewhere that Musk tweeted "Ross will be free, too" but I can't give you a source right now, it was a short somewhere and I don't use X.

@Ash yes exactly, he posted that on X... I'm curious to see if he's right about that😅
Saylor and some others posted yesterday that Trump's LibertyFinancial (or whatever that thing is called) bought $47 million bitcoin for the 47th president's inauguration. Turns out it wasn't bitcoin, but "wrapped bitcoin" on the Ethereum blockchain💀
So they bought $47 million paper Bitcoin😂

Trump is a pathological egomaniac who is only interested in things and people that benefit him. Anyone who believes he supports something out of conviction is already making the biggest mistake.

@SteelAnacott that should have been clear since the last election.
1
Imagen de perfil
@Mark777 Actually - but tell that to 80 million Americans.
2
Imagen de perfil
@SteelAnacott I don't believe that there were as many as stated...the election can be influenced with enough money.
The protests that went on in the background yesterday are of course not shown.
He may have been able to impress the gun lobby or the individual Lucky Lukes in Texas with the drivel, but certainly not the majority.
Imagen de perfil
@SteelAnacott So Trump is no different from any other person.
Imagen de perfil
@Aktienmeer physically, yes, but he has the acting talent
Imagen de perfil
@Mark777 True, there are some documentaries in which voters - not the usual MAGA disciples - have had their say who voted for Trump because they trust Harris even less. This is also an indictment of democracy and shows where we should start.

Yesterday he signed 43 executive orders, with a total of 200 to follow today.

If you're going to speak out against fake news, then at least you shouldn't spread any yourself ;)

Ps: The fact that everyone is calling for a top gives me a very good feeling 😊

@Ph1l1pp What fake news did I spread?
Imagen de perfil
@DonkeyInvestor Read :/ I read that there were no crypto EOs (executive orders). Sowwy 🫶🏼

One was signed just under half an hour ago, a working group on cryptoassets (led by a female bitcoiner)

@Ph1l1pp thanks for the info

Don't understand the excitement, finally a presidente who has understood the core of crypto and uses it. The trustmebros now have one more who sells "assets of the future" and then makes rug pulls. As desired by the voters and the trustmebros who hold the coins.

I see Bitcoin rising. To the moon. Because it can't be any other way, it can only go up.

@Madhatter5566 "Finally a president who has understood and uses the core of crypto". That's why he released two coins or gave his name to them. So the core of crypto is to scam people?
Bitcoin will rise but not because Trump believes in it....

@DasWoodz Do you have any other use for all the coins that are launched hundreds of times a day than to withdraw others? Let us in on it. Trump gets it

Imagen de perfil
@Madhatter5566 Then maybe you shouldn't write crypto but shitcoins or something similar... I also count Bitcoin, Etherium, XRP etc. as crypto.

The value of the golden "B" only results from the fact that someone is prepared to pay more than the other.
Otherwise it's a house of cards without a foundation.
If I'm wrong, please enlighten me.

@Mark777 cf. gold

I don't own any gold, but gold is independent and can be sold without energy. There is a physical value behind it and it can be processed further.
2
@DasWoodz It's the same thing. The initial coins are in the hands of the inventors and you are the stupid debtor.

How many coins does Satoshi have?
@Alpalaka Gold is consumed and is a real commodity. Try holding a Bitcoin in your hand. Or transfer it without electricity.

If it became cheaper, we would see gold cap processors again, for example. And gold-plated contacts. It's overvalued because it's more like jewelry and coin metal, but that doesn't mean it's not needed.

@Madhatter5566 Thank you. Goal achieved.
Just wanted to create some atmosphere here in the comments :)

@Alpalaka I don't see this as a heated discussion.
It is based on arguments that are not absurd.

I sincerely hope that all stock markets will suffer over the next four years. 4x -10% would be a dream

Imagen de perfil
@Alpalaka and 4x -50% for Tesla 😅

Imagen de perfil
@Alpalaka Favorable EK I'm with you 😄
Imagen de perfil
@Alpalaka Not such a dream now either - for me haha ^^

I would prefer 4 years sideways with volatility. Would create a stable basis, bring P/E into "normal" ranges and with divi & options I can continue to generate income.

THAT would be my dream :-D

not so unlikely with adolf musk and altzheimer donny

@GeldGenie It would be interesting to see how many strategies here in our bubble are then thrown overboard again and then panic breaks out because suddenly you are no longer making 30%/year.
"Tech will continue like this for at least the next 10 years"
4
Imagen de perfil
@Alpalaka Joa :-D

It doesn't matter to me. I don't need the money for the next 5 years and can sit it out. Pharma and food as a reassuring pillar, CHF as a safe haven,... I wouldn't adjust anything. And politically driven stock markets have short legs - it will work out. :-D

Tech and manufacturers will certainly run for longer - but perhaps no longer with massive excess returns.

recession comes then everything will fall anyway. But Bitcoin will also survive this crisis. I wouldn't be so sure about 90% of altcoins and the Trump or Melania Coin anyway!
