What to do with shitcoin losses?

Hi everyone,

what to do with admittedly badly performing Shitcoins. I have a few cryptoposis via Etoro. Bissl $BTC (-0,39 %)
$ETH (-1,23 %) but also $SOL (+3,25 %)
$ADA (-1,59 %)
$XLM (-1,21 %)
$DOGE (-2,04 %)

Why? Surely 90% Fomo and 10% persuaded that is somehow risk diversification. I've been thinking for weeks about what to do now. $BTC (-0,39 %) and $ETH (-1,23 %) I still have hodl vibes.

I really don't know what to do with the others. I'm down around 35% here. Doesn't hurt me at the moment because I don't need the money. But somehow, as a gambler's pose, you could probably do something better with it.

Fomo and risk diversification in crypto projects is not a good reason to get involved. Better to sell in that case, right? Think about why you are investing in these projects and why there should be potential. If you can't think of anything more than Fomo and risk diversification, then it's better to sell and invest the money more sensibly.😉

I had to deal with the same issue, I had losses of about 70-80% for long months, and still waited for an upward trend that never came. I sold them about a week ago, at least I have fewer elements in my portfolio.

I hold my altcoins... I am very highly invested myself and 35% in the red

Would sell the shitcoins first. Second I would hold Btc because of the halving cycles as we have the next 2028 and (according to banks) will see a price of 500.000 to 600.000€ after the halving I expect more like 400.000-500.000€ but that alone is reason to hold long term in my opinion.

Hold the positions and offset the losses against the gains (from $ETH, $BTC, and, if applicable, $SOL ) for tax purposes.
