Deutz Acquires Defense Firm FFG and Strengthens Its Defense Division

$DEZ (-1,26 %) plans to acquire Flensburg-based FFG and pay approximately €1.6 billion for it. With this move, the engine manufacturer aims to expand its defense division. The acquisition of this profitable specialist is also expected to help the company reach its 2030 revenue targets—raising them from the current €2.3–2.5 billion to over €4 billion—well ahead of schedule.
