The company operates power plants and distribution grids for the generation and distribution of electricity.

I first came across this interesting company through the "Fluence" joint venture for electricity storage etc. between Siemens and AES.

As long as the share price is bobbing around so low, I keep collecting a few shares 🤑🤞🏼

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 🏛️

G20 - Global minimum tax to come in 2023. In this, every company that exceeds an annual turnover of 750,000 euros is to pay 15% tax on its profits. The large digital corporations must have a turnover of at least 20 billion euros and generate a pre-tax profit margin of at least 10% to also be affected by the global sales tax. Amazon ($AMZ (-2,39 %)) would then be spared its 5% margin, while Apple ($APC (+0,26 %)) would be asked to pay. Tax havens would also become less attractive, as the tax burden would not fall on the home countries - as it does now - but on the market countries, i.e. where most of the revenue is generated.

Ryanair ($RY4C (-1,63 %)) - The airline has finally been able to report a profit again since the start of the pandemic. In the quarter July to September this year, the profit was 225 million euros. In comparison, Ryanair made a loss of 225.5 million euros in the same quarter last year.

However, a loss of 100 to 200 million euros is expected for the year as a whole, as airline tickets have to be offered at discounts.

Bitcoin ($BTC-EUR (-0,38 %)) - After Bitcoin's strong October 2021 gain, there are eager hopes for an even stronger price increase. Predictions vary between a $50,000 and $100,000. Next month's result could be significantly influenced by the fact that many investors are in a celebratory mood and expect a continued strong increase. On the other hand, a throttling of the markets is expected after an announcement by the Fed.

Fluence Energy - The issue price is $28, above the price range of $21 to $24. This puts the joint venture between Siemens ($SIEGY (-0,91 %)) and AES ($AES (-0,68 %)) raised approximately 1.01 billion euros in the IPO. This gives an enterprise value of $4.6 billion, valuing Siemens' stake at $1.6 billion. Fluence Energy produces giant lithium-ion batteries that play a major role in renewable energy storage.

VW ($VOW3 (+1,32 %)) - Due to shortages of electronic components and semiconductors, VW has to cut back. Despite red figures in the last quarter at Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Skoda and Seat, the group continues to adhere to its annual targets, as the premium brands Porsche and Audi perform comparatively well. Compared with the same period last year, profits from July to September fell 12 percent to 2.8 billion euros. As with most other automakers, the scarce semiconductors are being used where they promise the most return. Sanofi ($SNW (+0,91 %)) - Business at French pharmaceuticals group Sanofi is going from strength to strength. As a result of the better third quarter, management is once again raising the group's annual targets. Compared to the previous year, sales of 10.4 billion euros were generated, which corresponds to an increase of 10 percent. The neurodermatitis drug Dupixent, as well as over-the-counter medicines and the vaccination business, are driving growth. Profit amounted to 2.3 billion euros, 19 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.

Shiba Inu ($SHIB) - The meme coin has caused a strong stir due to its huge price increase in recent weeks. The coin broke its all-time high again and currently stands at $0.00006743 and a market capitalization of $35.2 billion. For a short time, it even made it to 9th place among the largest cryptocurrencies, overtaking even the legendary Dogecoin. The price of the new meme coin could rise even further as the trading volume could increase even more. The launch of an original $SHIB-NFT series called Shiboshi's could also push the price even higher. These are 10,000 individual pixel images of Shiba-Inus (see image). The cheapest of these NFTs are currently selling on Opensea for the equivalent of $7,480.37.
