Daimler Truck - Daimler's ($DAI (-1,03 %)) truck division could celebrate its debut on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange today under the name Daimler Trucks. The first price valued the company with a market capitalization of 23 billion euros. This means that the market capitalization is rather at the lower end of analysts' forecasts, who had expected a valuation of up to 40 billion.

Inflation - The consumer price index in the U.S. is up 6.8% since December 2020. This is the fastest increase since June 1982. Exactly how the Federal Reserve will respond remains to be seen. The next meeting of the FED will take place next week, where the figures will play a central role.
Volkswagen ($VOW (-1,79 %)) - Herbert Diess remains Group Chairman. The Supervisory Board agreed that Diess will remain Chairman of the Board of Management, but will have to relinquish some operational responsibilities. The biggest change will be that Herbert Diess will lose responsibility for the China business. In addition, the investment program for the next 5 years was released, this includes investments in the amount of 160 billion euros.

Meta ($FB (+2,21 %)) - The Meta subsidiary Whatsapp is currently testing transfers with cryptocurrencies. A test phase is currently underway to enable users to send cryptocurrencies to each other.
