The Asset Management segment offers investment management, advice, and products to retail, high net worth, and institutional clients through Columbia Threadneedle. The Retirement & Protection Solutions segment refers to RiverSource solutions, which includes clients annuities, life insurance, and disability income insurance products. The Corporate & Other segment handles closed blocks of business and net investment income or loss on corporate level assets, including excess capital held in subsidiaries.
