Daimler ($DAI (+1.05%)) - Daimler is significantly reducing its stake in the Denza car brand. The project, which was launched in 2014 together with BYD ($1211 (-0.37%)) project launched in 2014 has not gone as well as hoped. With only 24,000 cars sold since 2014, Denza has a market share of just 0.02%. Daimler has now reduced its share from 50% to just 10%.

Disney ($DIS (+1.22%)) - From January 2022, for the first time in Disney's history, a woman will take the seat as chairman of the board. Susan Arnold has been a member of Disney's Supervisory Board for 14 years. Prior to that, she held senior management positions at Procter & Gamble ($PG (+2.31%)).

Visa ($V (+0.68%)) - The payment service provider Visa would like to offer an advisory service on cryptocurrencies in the future. In particular, Visa wants to help partners and customers such as banks and other payment service providers to enable payments with Bitcoin ($BTC (+0.33%)) & co to enable. With this, Visa takes another step towards the expansion of the payment infrastructure for cryptocurrencies and thus also responds to the emerging competition from many new fintechs in this area.

Today, among others, Toro Company ($TTC (+2.11%)), Trip.com Group limited ($CLV (-1.82%)) and Metro St. ($B4B (+0.77%)) present their quarterly figures.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 🏛️

Tesla ($TSLA (+4.29%)) - Elon Musk sold more of his Tesla stock this week. The mandatory disclosure to the Securities and Exchange Commission showed that he sold another 934,000 Tesla shares for about $900 million. The background for the sales was a Twitter post by Musk in which he put to a vote whether to sell 10% of his Tesla shares. Since the result of the vote went in favor of the sale, he sold a total of $12.7 billion worth of shares. Tesla shares have since fallen by around 17%.

Alibaba ($BABA (-2.2%)) - China's Alibaba is entering the metaverse market. Alibaba Group Holding reported a new company under the name: Yuanjing Shengsheng to test the potential of gaming in the metaverse.

Dogecoin ($DOGE (-0.32%)) - Elon Musk is once again moving the crypto markets via Twitter. He wrote in a tweet that he wants to accept payments in the Tesla fan store with Dogecoin, just to see how it works. The Memecoin rose by 20% as a result.
