Switzerland 🇨🇭 is struggling with similar problems to Germany. In the 2nd quarter, the economy did not grow. Although consumption increased, industry shrank. The hospitality industry in particular grew significantly.

Things are still not going well in China 🇨🇳. China's service sector was slower in August than it has been in 8 months. The Caixin purchasing managers index fell from 54.1 to 51.8 points.

$SB1 (+4.61%) Smartbroker released its first-half results. Sales fell significantly, and the sales forecast for the full year has to be revised downwards. Instead of 51 to 56 million, sales of EUR 46 to 51 million are now expected.

In China 🇨🇳 , auto sales are picking up again for the first time since May. Compared to the previous year, car sales increased by 2.2%. Tesla in particular benefited from this, with almost 65,000 Teslas sold in China in August alone thanks to discount campaigns.

After the really poor half-year results, we have decided to sell our position in $SB1 (+4.61%) to sell. The reasons such as the Ukraine war or inflation are not really comprehensible from our point of view for a broker that should actually profit from uncertainty.

Although the Smartbroker+ is now coming, it is completely open how well the new broker will be received. We are now realizing the profits of the last few months and increasing our cash balance for the time being.

Partial sale at our $SB1 (+4.61%) position.

The main reason was tax reasons, after FIFO we realized a loss here and a corresponding loss carry forward. We can let the profits continue to run.

The share could become more volatile in the coming weeks due to the EU decision on PfoF and the launch of SMARTBROKER+.

We use the opportunity to take advantage of tax benefits, to reduce the weighting somewhat in the turbulent times and to have more flexibility.

Following our partial sale of Kion, we have increased our holdings in Smartbroker. There has been a noticeable amount of insider buying here recently.
