Briefly about me
I am 19 years old and currently in my first year of training. In 2025, I learned that in the stock market it is often better to be boring sometimes than to gamble unnecessarily - the result was -4% performance. This experience has clearly shaped my strategy for 2026: more discipline, less actionism.
I am starting 2026 with a portfolio balance of 13.000€ and am currently investing around 1,000 per month.
My goal by the end of 2026 is approx. 25.000€ (I will then be 20 years old). The investment horizon is very long-term (around 40 years before I want to withdraw the capital).
Strategy 2026
After last year's experience, I realized that pure hype stocks make little sense in the long term.
That's why I'm clearly focusing on stable, established companies in 2026, but deliberately combining this with a controlled level of risk:
- Approx. 80 % of the monthly savings rate: stable quality stocks (e.g. $AMZN (-1.83%) )
- Approx. 20 %Riskier assets
→ Due to my age, I consider this proportion to be justifiable in the long term
Portfolio structure
- Maximum of 8 individual stocks
- 1 ETF for basic stability
- No classic savings plan
- $BTC (-0.32%) Build up to 20% of the portfolio (but only with clearly defined target zones)
(Do not consider the small ETF position as it is for my younger sister)
