Bitcoin: Are We Looking at the Wrong Number Right Now?

Everyone's talking about 100k, 150k, or 200k.

I find another question much more interesting:

What if $BTC (-2.76%)
is in the process of changing its old cycle?

Bitcoin has long since ceased to be driven solely by retail investors and crypto traders. ETFs and institutional capital are shifting demand—while at the same time, more and more investors are holding for the long term.

That’s why the key question in the future might be less:

“How many new bitcoins are entering the market?”

but rather:

“With rising prices, how many Bitcoin

attachment

still available for sale at all?”

As I see it, there are currently three scenarios:

Bullish: Resistance is broken → 100k is getting closer → A revaluation begins.

Neutral: Bitcoin remains in a range → The market is waiting for liquidity and ETF inflows.

Bearish: Demand turns → key support breaks → significantly lower prices become possible.

My actual thesis:

Perhaps Bitcoin is no longer just a halving trade. Perhaps it is currently evolving into a global liquidity asset.

If that’s true, today’s price targets could eventually look quite modest.

But that’s exactly why I’m not making a “BTC is guaranteed to reach X” prediction.

Anyone can explain rising prices.

It gets interesting when it starts to hurt again.

Yeah, I have those three options too. Either it goes up, down, or stays the same 🙄😅

@Tobi60 😂 Yeah, it's hard to argue with that. In a way, you've obviously covered all the possibilities.
But for me, this post is less about predicting the price and more about what’s driving the movement this time. That’s exactly what I find exciting about Bitcoin right now.₿
Let’s see which of the three scenarios wins out in the end. 😄

A fourth scenario is that it vanishes into nothing

One thing that can be assessed regardless of price movements is that volatility will continue to decline in the future due to institutional investors. BTC’s price will likely become more stable over the long term, but that means there won’t be any more big, short-term “dream returns” to be had. That’s already the case now.
