Question about BTC

Hi there!

Since when is $BTC (+1.51%) a crypto? 🤔

I don't think many people have yet realized that this is not the case. 🫠

That's right. Shitcoin would be better

I don't understand the question. Just because it's the most stable or successful coin in years doesn't make Bitcoin any less of a cryptocurrency.

What do you mean by "a crypto"?
Once you've clarified that, your question will answer itself. 😏

According to Wikipedia, always:
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kryptow%C3%A4hrung

Crypto = $BTC + AltCoins
AltCoins = Crypto - $BTC
$BTC = Crypto - AltCoins

I expressed myself a bit badly 😂 I wanted to make the point that crypto as a term for Bitcoin is not sufficient. BTC is certainly subordinate to cryptocurrencies, even if it differs massively from other cryptos and could therefore also be ascribed other terms such as digital hard money or similar. This term might be more appropriate.

I was curious to see the reactions when I made such a claim 😁 Thanks for the exchange 🤌🏻
