I think both companies are very interesting in the long term and are currently valued relatively favorably. Microsoft in particular is probably not doing anything wrong. Spotify could probably grow a little more...

One possible objection to Microsoft would be its strong representation in ETFs. On the other hand, the risk/reward ratio is particularly attractive here.

For speculation $SPOT for the long term Microsoft, but I would still only save if you are in and buy 1-2 shares at a time. I would avoid getting in big on both. Spotify has also recently nibbled at the 52-week line and the valuation is still quite high. If the ceo's strategy works: reward premium subscribers more (access to releases, merch, etc.), use social media (insta, tiktok and co) to bounce with the growth, then there could be a lot of upside. And don't forget the music industry is changing with pros and cons.
