Look forward to the free 5kg of chocolate every year! :-D

I find it funny that I was criticized for a long time for my Swiss investments. I was accused of "home bias", especially by @Epi. And now everyone is hyping the solid stocks from Switzerland?^^

I am a CH fan, with a small bias.

I can recommend R&S Group & Helvetia (HELN) - but also many others ;-)

@GeldGenie Well, there are some very solid values hidden in there. I'm hardly convinced by any healthcare stocks, for example. Novartis, on the other hand, I think is good.
I can't think of too many broadly diversified consumer staples companies (that don't run their own stores like Walmart and co)... Unilever, Procter... yes, and Nestle

@GeldGenie which ones would you recommend, i.e. shares from ch?
profile image
@Memo0606 Basically the stocks in my portfolio.

Would like to buy some more ( $HELN $SREN $GALE $ZURN $NESN ).

I find Swiss IPOs exciting and I wish we had more SPACs.

@GeldGenie all look expensive except for nestle :(
profile image
@doomi $VACN I agree with you. But I don't see the rest.

Why do you see potential?
profile image
@GeldGenie If your portfolio is full of CHF shares, then it remains a problematic home bias - regardless of whether the shares rise a little or not. 🤷

@Epi
1. it was never "full of CH[F] equities".
2. we have even seen with supporting literature that Swiss equities smooth out performance in the long term and have no negative impact. 🤷‍♂️

But you do you - leave the CH diamonds alone 😜

@GeldGenie I can't really remember it anymore. 🤔😅

Basically, I have nothing against Swiss equities. If I take Europe ETFs, then always those that also contain non-EU shares, especially because of the Swiss shares. So all's well, enjoy the ride! 👍

@Epi Selective memory 🤪

But tbf hadn't done any backtesting ;-) But would be your expertise 👍

Likewise, thank you! 🙏👍

A single share? Your poverty pisses me off😂😅

Nestlé did not convince me. What is your investment thesis? 🤓

@Iwanowitsch I don't think it will blow my socks off in terms of growth, but it offers a nice defensive addition that also pays solid dividends and looks fundamentally quite healthy.
I have 52% tech in my portfolio. It doesn't hurt to add companies like this.

Incidentally, Unilever is comparable for me: I have it in my portfolio. I don't expect much return, but a fundamentally solid component

@lawinvest If Nestlé doesn't work out at all, you can still console yourself once a year with the Lindt chocolate box 🥹 I'm also getting in with Lindt, but via the participation certificate

I wanted to buy Nestlé now but somehow I can't😒😒

Only gets the error message at Trade Republic This position originates from an incoming custody transfer. An additional purchase is not possible
profile image
@lawinvest I believe Nestlé can return to growth at a good pace, but the Swiss withholding tax on dividends is very penalizing.
@Iwanowitsch I'm not convinced by the title either and I think it's currently overrated. But of course, everyone as they like 😊

What you don't do for a chocolate case

profile image
@Alpalaka I would have to travel to Switzerland for that 🥲
profile image
@lawinvest For 5 kg of chocolate? Why not?
It's a shame that they lose out to Ritter Sport and Milka in blind tastings, but carrying a blue suitcase in Zurich is certainly fun ☺️

A tremendous performance. Over 10 million deposits. My greatest respect. May I ask what you do for a living?

@Akkordeonspezial I don't know myself, but I assume it's something from law (because of the name) :)

ooh and $SREN and $SOON

(https://getqu.in/b5AiUk/ - my portfolio for possible inspiration for CH titles)

Crazy 🙌

Wow, respect!
I just had a look at the portfolio distribution on your profile. Since Lindt only makes up 1.09% of your portfolio and you have currently made a 0.32% profit with the share, your total portfolio value is around €11,504,587
Congratulations!

@Noahpf I alone don't believe that someone with an 11 million deposit would post on gq in the morning.
In this respect I wouldn't take the sums on gq too seriously or can you see the proof of purchase somewhere?

I'd like to have them too, but I'll probably have to do a bit more work for them :-)
