What happened there?

A 70% drop in one month for $DSRT (+5.88%) ? One of the few small-cap stocks featured here that I didn't buy into.

Hey, so the chart here on GQ isn't quite right right now, and there was a capital increase.
Otherwise, all projects within the company are moving forward. 🤷
It's just a microcap—as I said back then, it's either going to skyrocket or be a total loss.
I'm staying pretty relaxed about it.

TR is trading at €0.03—I'd say that seems about right based on the chart...

@Stef1893 At Flatex, it's also 0.017—this morning's bid price.
profile image
@Multibagger That makes me wonder where the wide spread comes from—TR is currently at 0.0325 as the bid price 🤷🏻‍♂️...

@Stef1893 Up 50% today 😆 @Multibagger I'm waiting until August 12 for the new shares to be credited to my account. I exercised my subscription rights.

I did that, too—I'm curious to see where things go over the next few years. I still think it's a good thing.

@Multibagger It’s best to use the Oslo Stock Exchange as a reference. That’s where I bought my shares, and I’ll also be purchasing the new shares through that exchange. There’s higher trading volume there, and the spread is also very moderate. Right now, they’re trading there at 0.322 NOK, which is roughly 0.29 €. https://live.euronext.com/en/product/equities/NO0010963275-MERK

@Dividendenopi That's exactly where I shop from Denmark, too

@Dividendenopi At TR, the bid price is currently €0.298 as well, so you could also buy some there if you have an account there 🤝🏻. I'm curious to see what happens there in the future—I've jumped in too 🙋🏻‍♂️.

@Stef1893 You can do that. With micro-caps, keep in mind that many investors may want to exit quickly—for example, to capitalize on a price spike. If the market is tight, trades might not go through. In that case, I prefer a liquid market, even if it means paying a fee.

How can I buy stocks there? Through Oslo and then in NOK? Will the stocks be in my account in euros or in NOK?
1
Because if I'm already paying 69 euros in fees in Oslo, a small investment isn't worth it at all.

@Raketentoni @Multibagger I hope you can help me out with this quickly🫶🏼

@Schinzi1112 Which broker do you use? I live in Denmark; I buy directly in Oslo in NOK and pay a 10 NOK fee, which is a little more than 1 euro.
1
@Raketentoni At Consorsbank... Apparently, it's 69 euros🫣

@Schinzi1112 That would be reason enough for me to switch brokerage accounts :D

@Schinzi1112 Those are the ones with the highest fees. That's why I withdrew everything from there. And trading abroad is extortion.

@Multibagger @Raketentoni
Which broker do you guys use? It really bugs me that the fees are so crazy...

@Schinzi1112 Well, I can't really speak to that, since I live in Denmark and the tax situation is different there than in Germany—I'm with Saxo. You can open an account there even as a German citizen, and you can trade on 140 exchanges worldwide. But I think if you go with ING, TR, Scarable, or something like that, that’ll work just fine.

@Schinzi1112 So, the U.S. works well on Flatex. But I don't think Oslo or Helsinki are available there. Maybe on TR, though, now that there are so many exchanges to choose from. I haven't tried it yet, though.

@Raketentoni TR and Scalable haven't worked so far—I'm not sure if the changes will open up new possibilities 🤷‍♂️ And some of the others charge pretty steep fees. Exchange rates and exchange fees are on top of that. It’s hard to visualize with smaller amounts. Desert Control is at least tradable via Gettex, if your broker offers it. But there’s hardly any volume and the spread is outrageous.
