Ethereum ( $ETH-USD (-0.52%) ) - Following the successful launch of the Altari Beacon Chain update, ETH reached a new all-time high of $4,400.97 last night. This upgrade paves the way for Ethereum 2.0, which will be based on proof-of-stake rather than proof-of-work. ETH has maintained bullish momentum since July, when its price was still at $1,780. Ethereum has particularly benefited from the boom in DeFi and NFTs over the past few months.
