Share price rise underestimated

$ZIM (-0.17%) - Wouldn't have thought that after the rumors about a possible takeover that have been around for a few weeks, the share price would go up again like this. Not bad. Unfortunately, I only ever had them on my watchlist.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the figures are 35$ per share. Isn't it then a no brainer that the share price is heading in that direction?

@jkb92 A risk of failure is always priced into every share price. Currently, the expected value = probability that the deal will go through for the market is the current price

Since concerns have already been raised about a purchase by hapag-llyod, the sale is not certain.
Israel has a golden share with which they can stop everything. The main risk is that influence could be exerted via Arab state funds. ZIM is responsible for supplies by sea in the event of war and has been the only company to supply Israel in the past.

@tom_finance Yes, I am aware of that. But it hasn't run up to 35$ either.
