Investment Idea

Would investing in the air conditioning manufacturer Daikin Industries$6367 (-2.24%) actually a good idea right now?

Back when the government was still in favor of heat pumps, the left—and the Greens—were all for it.
Why now?

@Smudeo because they manufacture air conditioners

@Pilla1311
The following countries have the highest density of air conditioners per household worldwide:
Japan,
the U.S.,
South Korea,
Saudi Arabia,
China,
India
Japan and the U.S. are clearly in the lead—nearly every household there has an air conditioner.

Germany’s share is in the per mille range!

@Smudeo because he's hot right now. And when he's thirsty, he thinks about buying Coca-Cola stock. It makes sense, doesn't it? 😅

@7Trader If that were the case, my portfolio would look completely different 😄

I don't think a few days of a heat wave will lead to a sustained rise in prices 😉

@GHF Probably not 😄

Well, a stable business model is more hoarse than cold, after all.
