you're doing it right and just keep on going. you can try things out along the way and make experiences that sometimes turn out to be wrong (like the nvidia short mentioned above), but starting with a broadly diversified etf as a basis is exactly right. you can be proud to have reached your first goal and already look forward to being able to tick off the next ones soon.

@Cai-pirinha I don't understand why you support Vanguard of all places. Why don't you leave your money in Frankfurt, with Xtrackers, or do you want to emigrate? Why do you do 90%World, 10%EM at 0,22TER when you pay less at Amundi Prime. I don't understand your strategy and see your volatility as a risk, what are you planning to do, what are you doing about it?

1. it's too stupid for me to do 90/10 with two ETFs if I can do it in one ETF, I would then have to pay for two savings plans.

2. i don't want to emigrate.

3. the dollar has been the currency of the USA for centuries and is used worldwide, I don't know of any GDP that is calculated in yen or roubles etc.

And with TR it is converted into €, so in my eyes it doesn't matter at all.

Feel free to explain to me what exactly is wrong with that :)
