NVIDIA - Insiders sell shares worth over $1 billion

This month (June 25), insider sales of more than 500 million US dollars were registered. Presumably because the company's share price reached an all-time high and Nvidia became the world's most valuable company by market capitalization.

Jensen Huang, the CEO of $NVDA (-1.08%) began selling shares this week for the first time since September. His sales were made under a pre-arranged 10b5-1 trading plan set up in March, which allows him to sell up to 6 million shares by the end of the year.

Other senior executives and directors have also sold shares:

-Mark Stevens, a longtime board member, sold about $288 million worth of shares since June 2.

-Jay Puri, Executive Vice President, sold approximately $25 million worth of shares on Wednesday.

-Board members Tench Coxe and Brooke Seawell sold about $143 million and $48 million worth of shares, respectively, in June.

What do you do as an employee of Nvidia when you have 100 million in your account? Do you continue to work your ass... for the company or make a nice life for yourself?

This question should now be a problem for Nvidia...

@Epi Well, I think most people in such a company really enjoy their job, otherwise they would quit directly with such a fortune. I believe that a company in which there are almost only millionaires who occasionally work for fun will perform better than one in which every second employee is on the verge of debt slavery.

@Epi the better they work and perform, the more than 100 million they can cash out in 10 years
