British American Tobacco partial sale 🚬

After more than 3 years, I am reducing the $BATS (-0.33%) my portfolio by more than half. The reason is profit-taking and reallocation to another company.

@Marty0292 is not completely gone

I would have kept them as cash flow producers.

@Stiller-Invest bought $PAYX with the proceeds. Pays a little less, but increases dividends much more... and that's more important to me

@PoorDad but is listed in the US&A. Have you calculated the effects of the withholding tax exemption? I would be interested

@_Harry_ Before you only buy shares from the UK, Australia etc. because of the withholding tax, you should find out about the double taxation agreement (DTA).

Which company are you transferring to?

@Divident_e no. It's only a partial sale
@Divident_e Since when do profits hurt? 😕

I also have $BATS in the PF as one of the first steps towards a dividend portfolio (it will take a few years until the PF is significantly changed).

So far they have given a lot of pleasure.
