Is this a long-term position or a trade for you?

@Sebbster is a long-term investment. For me, only crypto and uranium stocks are cyclical trades.

@Dirty30 Thank you. Thanks for the uranium tip. I'm in on that trade, too.

@Sebbster You need strong nerves in that industry, too 😁

@Dirty30 $UUUU It does have the advantage that rare earth elements are included as well

@Sebbster Exactly. You also have to keep in mind that $UEC and $UUUU have relatively stable balance sheets for commodity exploration companies.

Definitely in the long term!! There’s still a lot of potential there, especially if they enter the spinal market. Globally, not all markets have been tapped yet—so far, the focus has been heavily on the U.S. At some point, given those margins, they’ll very likely pay out a huge dividend.

@PikaPika0105 That sounds exciting. $4480 has been working really well these past few days, too. You're the one who introduced me to it :)

@PikaPika0105 As a Japan expert, what do you actually think of $6701?

@Sebbster Jap is doing well. The quarterly results will certainly be good. I strongly expect an upward revision to the forecast. However, there was also a cyberattack that, while affecting only 2% of revenue, should be resolved soon to protect the company’s reputation. Fortunately, the whole thing isn’t that bad, since there’s been such a huge wave of cyberattacks in Japan lately (plus the recent global PHP incident), so these are viewed more as collateral damage. But the matter hasn’t been fully resolved yet. I also think the stock is benefiting from the fact that so much investment in AI has been reallocated to other sectors, such as healthcare.

@Sebbster Very diversified and successfully transformed. Very strong market position in certain markets (e.g., facial recognition, undersea cables…). It’s performing very strongly right now. It’s a high-quality stock with exciting segments, but it has already seen most of its re-rating. That’s not a bad thing, but it’s not comparable to high-growth stocks like Medley or PKSHA.

@Tenbagger-Capital I'd say the stock was a tenbagger from 2022 to 2024, so in that sense, it was a healthy breather.
