@Dividendenopi The dividend per share has nothing to do with withholdingtaxes, it is just after being received, they can not reduce half dividend per share and then charge the taxes

@IsaiGM But it seems plausible to me. 25% Norwegian withholding tax and your 15% Spanish taxes

@Dividendenopi No bro, the case is that they have to pay 4,82NOK per share, not 2,76NOK and the customer service is scum they dont answer, they just took half of my dividend payment

You mean that instead of NOK 4.82 gross dividend ( dividendo bruto), you only have NOK 2.76 on your statement?

@IsaiGM Surely there is a double taxation agreement between Spain and Norway?

Germany, for example, has one with Norway and as a result you can get a refund of the overpaid tax in Norway.

But not every broker is tax-simple. This means that you have to reclaim the excess withholding tax paid in Norway yourself.

There will definitely be another settlement. This is the regular dividend, but there was also a special distribution.

@SAUgut77 I also misunderstood it at first, there is to be a total gross dividend of NOK 4.82. For now, he has only received the regular dividend. The special dividend is missing, then the calculation would work out
