Financial investor Mutares with record result - optimistic outlook

The sale of investments helps the Munich-based financial investor Mutares $MUX (-0.76%) to a leap in profits. According to preliminary calculations, consolidated operating profit increased more than sixfold to EUR 733.5 million in 2025, Mutares announced on Monday. Turnover increased by just under 23 percent to EUR 6.5 billion. This figure was at the lower end of the targeted range of EUR 6.5 to 7.5 billion. Mutares forecast revenue of between EUR 7.9 and 9.7 billion for 2026. Sales are expected to increase by 25 percent annually until 2030.

An examination of the consolidated financial statements of Mutares only makes very limited sense for an investor due to the business model. The analysis and development of the individual financial statements of the holding company is particularly relevant. But here, too, the news is quite pleasing 😃

@fabfrey98 Good point! The consolidated financial statements are often really confusing with such a business model. A look at the holding level is much more informative to see how healthy the company really is. With the increase in the holding company's net profit for the year to over 130 million euros, the foundation for the dividend looks very solid to me. Doesn't it? That actually confirms that the strategy not only works on paper, but also in the cash register at head office, or how do you see it?"

@schlimmschlimm Yes, I absolutely agree. In my opinion, the company is still undervalued. I am also positive about the outlook (25% growth p.a.). Let's hope that there are no more accounting problems etc. in the future...
