300 under 30 has already been achieved. Now it's time to defend them. 😁

At least that's what I humbly think when you consider the current highs of shares and ETFs.

Monthly savings installment of 1000€ in $VWCE (+0.18%) should help to bring more stability to the portfolio.

I'm also trying to build up a small cash reserve (even if it's really difficult for me)

Congratulations... apart from your bitcoin position, I like your portfolio. Personally, the size of the BTC position would just be too hot for me now.
Paypal has hit us both (no longer in the portfolio)
And not much else has gone wrong with investing 👍🏻☺️

@lawinvest It would be too hot for me not to have any Bitcoin in my portfolio in the current circumstances. Study Bitcoin.

@Seiky I prefer to take it in the short term and indirectly on derivatives coinbase and microstrategy ;)
A little bitcoin doesn't hurt anyone either. That as by far the largest position with a high buy in... hm I don't know
@lawinvest 1. time in the market beats timing the market. It's a matter of opinion, of course, but just like with shares, gold and everything else, you should invest in bitcoin for the long term rather than trying to hit lows and tops. You're always smarter in hindsight but you don't know beforehand. 2. of course you can also use Coinbase and MSTRG. With Coinbase, however, I see the problem that it is dependent on shitcoins, which in my opinion have little long-term future. I also have MSTRG in addition, there is only Bitcoin. Of course, this also works if you don't want to store it yourself or something similar. 3. in a portfolio like his, Bitcoin can't be seen as a position - it's an asset class in its own right, just like gold. If he now has 50 shares and gold, gold would of course have more weight than each of the shares but less than all of them together. He only has about 1/6 in BTC, but since he is highly diversified in stocks, it is greater than the individual stocks.

@lawinvest and last but not least and most importantly 4. i have never heard from anyone who really knows and understands bitcoin that you have too much. There are people who have really looked into it and have a lot of bitcoin in their portfolio. And then there are people who can't answer 3 basic questions about it... I've never met anyone who really knows about it and then advises against it. Over the next 10 years, absolutely nothing will outperform bitcoin and that is almost certain. And I said the same thing 6 years ago and people laughed but well... We were at 3k then...

@Seiky No additional purchases are planned for the time being, and the FTSE is also to be expanded as a core. But the BTC price is simply unpredictable. And faster than my savings rate in the FTSE. I'm happy for it to continue like this 😂 but if it doesn't, that's no bad thing.

@lawinvest wow madness! You have a golden future ahead of you 🙃

Keep at it and be a role model for other young people.

@lawinvest yes, i agree. nothing against crypto and bitcoin per se. for me, the total share should not be more than 5-10% for a less volatile portfolio.

@Moin_Moin congratulations! strong benchmark and strong savings success. the fact that from now on you are investing less volatile in an etf and rather look at the success with awe speaks for you again. you will make your way.

even if I am not a fan of high Bitcoin positions, I think your train of thought is strong!

so... FOR SPARTA!!! 🛡️

Did you reallocate in 2023? Your portfolio has practically exploded. Even if 2023 went well, +200% portfolio growth would be sporty 😉

profile image
@KevinC I've seen it too! Strong performance in any case. It would of course be interesting to find out how that came about
profile image
@KevinC had to add the portfolio once + I was only able to invest a lot of capital in 2023

Thanks Sina 😉 luckily wirecard has not yet been tracked 😂

but otherwise I've gotten through really well so far, I've had btc much earlier, only sold once in between)
As a computer scientist, you at least have to be able to say that you have 1 BTC 😅 (not entirely rational but yes🙈)

Respect to your depot, that's another house number 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

@Moin_Moin haha very interesting with the BTC 😄

And thank you ☺️ I'm restructuring right now... was a bit stupid of me. Switched from my single stock strategy to ETF because I thought I wouldn't have the time anymore, but now I'm getting bored 😂 and I'm going back to single stocks... 🙈

@Moin_Moin so I don't need the BTC as a software developer... A colleague of mine once bought socks with his coins(!!!) ....

Personally, for the sake of stability, I would also throw them out, because IMHO you're risking everything you gain now... But fortunately everyone can decide for themselves...

See cool portfolio. If it crashes, just hang in there, every crisis has its end and then of course buy more. And don't listen to the masses, don't give away your bitcoin, you only ever hear too much bitcoin from people who can't answer 3 questions about bitcoin haha...

What thought process led you to select the exotic MSCI World SR 5&cap?

@Krush82 I was first with Consorsbank and that is their product, Ishare and vanguard are very expensive there, but this strange thing manages to track the index. I am now also with TradeRepublik and buy the All world.
profile image
@Moin_Moin consors has a list online with free savings plans

Awesome, especially for your age, 300,000 by 28 should probably be sporty for me. How did you put so much money aside? I mean, when you're at school, if you work really hard, you can earn up to 20 grand a year, but that's hardly more, but then education and then an apartment and so on is quite a portfolio.
I'm really happy for you, really cool😏

@Habgieriger_Halunke Thanks, I still have a side business in IT so I've been able to build up a good cushion again. I hope it goes on like this for a few more years. I live very cheaply and have a car that belongs to me. so I have few fixed costs, so I can still put a lot away.
1
profile image
@Moin_Moin cool, I'm celebrating. What are you saving for? So do you have any goals like "retirement" at 40 in mind?
profile image
@Habgieriger_Halunke No, no particular goal. Of course, the million is a thought. But in the end it's just a number. It may sound trite, but having the freedom to make choices for your future is a great feeling. I still enjoy everything I do. But I also know that there is some damn hard and sh** work. Building, growing and living a self-determined life are my drivers.

profile image
@Moin_Moin I totally understand, I also love the freedom of being able to live in the here and now without any worries. I can see that in my fellow students who live from month to month
...and I don't have to worry about retirement provisions anymore.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you as you move forward (you'll have the million in 20 years anyway without having to save a cent)
Hi, why 2 different Vanguard all world? Are they that different? Lg Ch.

profile image
I meant since when? So how long did you save €1k/month until you had that amount?
1
profile image
I would be really interested to know how long this has been going on and was it always 1000 per month? 😅😳
profile image
@ziqs the 1000 unfortunately only for one year otherwise always one-off payments.

Congratulations on your achievement!

I had to reconnect a securities account once, so the tracking didn't really work out. I have two TR and Consors.
profile image
Really cool portfolio size and good positions in my opinion, maybe $KO would be something for you, no advice ✌🏻
profile image
Nice sum at 28. Too much crypto for my taste.
My goodness, what industry do you work in?
But congratulations in any case!
profile image
Wow! Respect! I read in the GQ article that you managed this with a savings rate of 1000€/month. For how long, if you don't mind me asking?
profile image
@Enea91 I hope the savings installment will soon pay for itself. The €1000 is just the basic inflow from my own pocket. Even if I don't have too much of a focus on dividends, 3000 will be distributed in 2024. This will of course be reinvested to support the Spartans. This will increase the savings rate to around €1300. By 2030, a savings rate of €2000 should be possible without increasing the savings plan.

Positions in FTSE Dist, United Health and Allinaz should contribute to this in the near future.
profile image
Risk yes, cash flow is an important criterion for me as I am still rather young, but distribution in the form of a dividend is of secondary importance. The cash flow can also be used for share buyback programs and investments. In the long term, however, the payout should also increase, I agree with you. 🙋🏼‍♂️
profile image
Congrats on your achievement! Nice to see young people having a clear strategy put in place, although some may find it risky and/or bold, I like it :) May I ask why Shell deserves a top 3 on your portfolio ?
profile image
When did you start and how high were the monthly installments 😳
profile image
Really strong, respect. I'm only at just under 100k.
If you're interested in my opinion: Watch Bitcoin very closely, you never know. Reduce Shell and Alphabet. Maybe a REIT or BDC for that?
Greetings
Did you have tenbagger or how did you manage that? :-D or always 100% shares since you were 18? If I do the math - 10 years 10k saved per year + decent return. Don't get me wrong - I do believe that, but I've also been investing in employee shares myself for years, always sparingly, reinvested mainly in corona. Not done badly. And at 38 I'm at 200k. Mix of 75% equities/etf, 25% call money + building society savings.

@Till1985 My first years in equities were more like learning years. I only really started investing 3-4 years ago. But I still have a side business where I can almost double my income. I also lead a frugal lifestyle.
