Hello 👋 Bear market, next ATH 📈 2028/2029 ✴️

So folks, that's it for this $BTC (-1.14%) Halving. We will now move downwards in waves for the time being. New USD ATH then 2028/2029.

For 99.99% of altcoins it will be even bloodier 👍

I don't think that's it yet.

But if it is, I'm already looking forward to the bear market again😁

@stefan_21 What was our bet? 150k or 50k?
profile image
profile image
@stefan_21 well then everything is still in it 👍

@stefan_21 Arthur Hayes is bullish for 2026, and has never minced his words when he's been bearish 😬
profile image
@BigMo who the fuck is Arthur Hayes?
2
profile image
@BigMo Is that good or bad now?
1
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor The founder of Bitmex. Absolute legend the man 😎
profile image
@BigMo I have no idea what Bitmex is either 😅. Apart from @DividendenWaschbaer there are no legends

But Bitcoin has been in a correction for almost a year. Why should there still be a bear market now?
I would rather see a bear market directly after a rally.

I also think we've started the bear market cycle of BTC. This means it's time to accumulate more eheh

So perfect to start with small savings plans could be the conclusion, right?

@GoDividend doesn't pay you a dividend. But if you can live with that: GoBitcoin 🚀
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor so a start would be? Bison -> collect there first? -> later on a wallet (or leave it there?)

I think I need to read up slowly
profile image
@GoDividend and don't forget my ref link in my profile 😁. But yes, just like that.
profile image
Eselino do you really think it's already done?

@Koenigmidas Yes, my little king

Sold 60% 😅 basically got my entire stake out. 40% at 90tsd; then 20% at 97tsd.
Good luck with that. But for me it was less a case of deliberate timing and more a desire to make Bitcoin more of a gimmick again. I don't believe enough in the demise of the global markets and the great age of cryptos to put a relevant proportion of my portfolio into them. How much are you still investing in $BTC? If I remember correctly, you wanted to pull the sails out of the crypto storm some time ago and move into calmer MSCI world waters?
profile image
@SchlaubiSchlumpf ah, I should have just looked at your profile. Are you going to stick with the exposure?
profile image
That means a short on the miners and treasury companies would be promising, right?
profile image
@Multibagger if you are convinced that the donkey is right. I'm still pretty neutral on that. The technology is fascinating, but it also has its shortcomings. (Scaling without additional technologies like Lightning, which are too cumbersome/complicated for the average citizen). I don't try my hand at shorts (anymore). I think the chance of losing is too great. You have to recoup the costs of the products first. And even if your own forecasts are correct, they may be too late and you end up out of the money. Too hot for me.

@SchlaubiSchlumpf I'm not selling anything. Had once considered selling at least a small part (maybe around 0.1 BTC). But hey, yolo 😁. I can still hold them until 2029. But I haven't bought any more for years. If then by shifting from other cryptos.

I only buy the ETFs in my portfolio.

@Multibagger I have no idea about market timing. But if you trust a donkey on the internet, then short with leverage. But be careful: Bitcoin falls in waves and not like a stone.
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor I don't want to short Bitcoin, but the miners or treasurys like $MSTR, or the exchanges like $COIN
profile image
@Multibagger Where do you see the difference?
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor At least Coinbase is not only dependent on the BTC price, but also suffers from declining trading transaction volumes. $MSTR certainly still has enough room to go below the BTC price, but others such as $BITF, $3350 (although what else do you want to short?) or other Treasurys that rely more on Etherum, I see strongly endangered. $BMNR or also $SBET

Will it be bloody @Crash-Propheteus?
profile image
@Tenbagger2024 Oh yes, if I had $BTC in my portfolio, I would sell everything before it was completely liquidated.......🔮
4
profile image
@Crash-Propheteus I would generally do this for every asset 👍
1
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor Yes, that would be the very best solution. The entire stock market will probably collapse next week......So buckle up, hold on tight, save your money 💰(no investment advice)
profile image
@Crash-Propheteus have heard that all real estate will also become worthless
1
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor Nah, that's a fake, real estate will double in value in the next 2 weeks because interest rates will go up 15%. So I've heard 🔮
profile image
@Crash-Propheteus crass. Well, I'll buy a new barn now.

Why do you assume that it is already through? I still have a small glimmer of hope 🥲
profile image
@Simon_n Halving 1.5 years ago. Already had two tips.
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor I've already thought about that. But I'm still waiting to see how the next few weeks turn out...
profile image
@Simon_n I'll wait until the Bitcoin is at 500-1,000k 👍

According to the analysis of your ingenious AI, where does the bear market go? 32k?
profile image
@Epi because there is generally less volatility in the market this time and we have a lot of institutional investors, I don't think we will fall that far. I'm just going to say 50k.
1
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor You could be right. Although the institutional investors are now just as fickle as the private investors.
I'm sticking with 32k, even though I don't really care where the bottom is. When things start to go up again, I'll be back in.
Until then, I'll eat popcorn... 🍿

profile image
@Epi you'll get pretty fat
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor I learn from the best! 🫄

@Epi Does a small epi come out after 9 months?

I am still missing some trigger event to catalyze the start of the bear market. There is currently no FUD at all regarding BTC. The red candles are not big enough yet.
profile image
@Gernhard_Reinholzen I wouldn't mind if things went up again
if we head to 50k, then we're in real trouble. Sentiment will be in the bin for those new to the space, via ETFs etc. S&P and GOLD will have outperformed BTC, so I can see many of these new investors, many of which has a cost base above 95k USD, never coming back. I'm a HODLer and want to stay positive, but 50k would be an utter disaster and no amount of hopium should convince anyone that its anything else.
profile image
@Lifechips as it was ~4, ~8 and ~12 years ago
profile image
To be honest, I don't think so, it has simply shifted to the outside, maybe until mid-26 and I really have to say about the shares, strangely enough there was no summer slump this year, maybe it will be made up for 🧐
profile image
@KoenigsRasse wouldn't mind fooling me
profile image
I thought everyone was gambling on prediction markets now instead of with Bitcoin 🧐
