I briefly looked into the setup and trading, and you can say: It's just another broker with advantages and disadvantages. One advantage is the 24/5 trading and at 3 a.m. many shares can be traded with a spread of just 2 cents.

That's not even the prime-time ask/bid spread in Germany, at least for stocks like Amazon, Robinhood and co. So they are modern and cheap.

Potential disadvantages: The shares are stored and cleared in the USA and are therefore not bound by European rules. In addition, tokenized shares are not tax-simple, like almost everything in crypto. However, this can also be an advantage for some people. With tax apps, you pay your taxes a little later and at the same time the tax situation there is still pretty gray. On the one hand, tokenized shares should be treated like shares, but at the same time they are crypto-derivatives and therefore also valid for the one-year tax-free sale. For some people, there are also US ETFs to trade there, such as $SCHD or $VUG (+0.15%) . Maybe for people like @GoDividend what or @ScorpionfromBW .

Robin hood

Today was $HOOD (-0.41%) EU event and it's cool what they are launching. They don't seem to want to go away from brokers but want to go straight for crypto. Pretty bullish in the long term, but it remains to be seen how customers will react. Hopefully the neobrokers in the EU won't lose too many customers.

I am brutally curious to see how blockchain and shares will develop in the future. Perhaps we will see the first official IPO via blockchain in the next few years. I signed up for the rewards and to check out how it works.

the question with tokenized shares and etfs is, of course, how secure is the whole thing? Can it happen in the event of a "hack" that the tokens are "stolen" from the exchange and then no longer belong to you? For tax purposes, security tokens are not regarded as crypto but as securities in accordance with § 20 EStG. If robinhood now simplifies taxes and pays them itself, that could be a big deal.

Insider Trading!!!

Today ain't my day. I discuss my background as well as add another diary entry to my YouTube channel.

I am trying to grow this portfolio WITHOUT selling, and I do not know how realistic this goal is. All in all, I know that the recent increases in the prices for $VOO (+0.03%) , $SCHD , $SCHY , $SCHG , $VYMI , $VUG (+0.15%) , $DGRO , $QQQ , and $TQQQ have increased a good amount.

However, out benevolent tech dictatorial oligarchs have really not released any positive news. Therefore, I am quite hesitant to invest in big tech at the moment. Maybe in the near future, big tech will be selling at more palatable prices.

I am trying to manage my money as best as I can. I see the underlying shifts etc but who knows exactly how much the US can lose while the rest of the planet gains???

Best dividend ETF?

Long-term investment, increased. It is incomprehensible to me why this ETF is not available as a UCITS. It is one of the best dividend ETFs ever. $SCHD

I also think it's a shame that he can't be traded on European courses. Only via detours like Switzerland etc. But who knows, maybe he'll come to the EU in the future

Happy FriYAY!

Happy Friday and great work on surviving another week! Today was an incredible end to a fantastic rally:

The S&P 500 is up, $VOO (+0.03%)
The Dow is up, $SCHD
The Nasdaq 100 is up, $QQQ

Furthermore, USA jobs data came in stronger than expected, and American investors are continuing to be bullish in the country. European investors, however, have withdrawn their capital from the US and are hesitant to come back.

Meanwhile, European defense companies continue to rally as the EU is starting its defense industrial complex.

Its been a good day for the Magnificent Seven, except... $AAPL (+0%) . This is due to $SPOT (-0.15%) 's successful lawsuit against the tech giant's monopolistic store practices.

$MAIN (-0.72%) - focused on these at the moment with a DCA every 2 weeks, now to get them up to 200 each. - the main thing I want to try and do is forget them and check back in 6 months with luck to have them where I want to them before moving on to my next 3 :)

Seeing what happens

$MSTY - got about 50 positions in this, so not too much in the game so to speak but so far just happy for it to keep ticking over each month and using the dividends to buy more $SCHD or $USF

@Adeeen132 Just do it. I bought some $AGNC this morning at €7.20 x140 units. I am collecting the monthly dividend and will buy again at the next deep.
