IKEA reports record sales despite global supply chain disruptions and rapidly rising costs, which the company says is a sign of the Swedish brand's appeal in uncertain economic times. Sales are up 6.5%, to 44.6 billion.

2nd Netflix announces price of its subscription plan with ads

Netflix is offering its ad-supported service for $6.99 per month, which is $1 less than Disney+ and Hulu with ads. The ads are supposed to be about 15-30 seconds long each and account for about 4-5 minutes of an hour. What do you guys think of the offer? 3. blackrock's asset-under-management fall below 8 trillion US dollars

BlackRock posted a smaller-than-expected drop in quarterly profit Thursday as strong demand for exchange-traded funds and other low-risk products cushioned the impact of global market volatility on fee income, but assets under management fell below expectations. The company's assets under management fell to $7.96 trillion in the third quarter, down 16% from a year earlier, as the stronger dollar eroded the value of investments in Europe and Asia.

Sony Honda Mobility (SHM) plans to start taking pre-orders for its vehicle in the first half of 2025 and hopes to launch sales before the end of the year.
