Which crypto exchanges or wallets can you recommend? I would like to trade as cheaply as possible and store them securely. (Preferably with automatic import into getquin). Which ones do you use?

Just for info, I will initially only invest/trade small amounts in crypto (maximum 3-digit), so cold wallets are not yet an option, I guess.

Many thanks in advance.

I use Bitvavo and am very satisfied. Low fees. If you use a ref link (e.g. the one on my profile) you trade the first 10k free of charge.
Is based in the Netherlands and have 100k deposit protection on cash.
Of course it's always better to have your coins in a wallet, but I leave mine in there too. Until they have grown a bit and then I move them to a cold wallet.
But I also think that I only move bitcoin to the wallet. I want to hold BTC forever and am continuously expanding. Possibly move Ethereum as well. The other two positions are only for the next bull run that will hopefully occur.

Which cryptos would you like to invest in?

There is no automatic import. @Kundenservice Is that planned for Bitvavo? Would also be interesting with the staking rewards. 😏

Coinmetro is by far the best platform. And very low fees. To store Ledger, Trezor or Bitbox

So I use Coinbase. It seems very expensive to me, but it should be secure. Which can be important in this environment.
But I only have BTC, Sol and MATIC

I use Coinbase, in my opinion high fees with standard account. Secure storage on the ledger.

I used Coinbase for a long time, but after a long time I can no longer recommend it.

-high fees
-constant switching around with your coins (between wallet and Coinbase)

I then used Binance, but I didn't like the customer service there at all and the all-round service.

But now the platform is great again and I think the fees are even very low.

However, I'm currently with Bitget, but I still have to think about whether I'd rather switch away because of all the incidents you read about on Trustpilot.

The design and the page are also so overloaded and confusing that it takes hours to get through.

That's why I'm about to switch to bitvavo.

-Low fees
-simple layout

However, they don't offer as many options as other providers (mining program, earnings, ...) and their headquarters are even in the Netherlands.

Bison is also quite nice, but doesn't offer as many coins. As far as I know, their headquarters are in DE.

So the bottom line:

Recommendable:

Bison, Bitvavo, binance

Questionable:

Bitget (have the lowest fees on the market)

Not recommended:

Coinbase

Kraken, for many years without any problems. They have customer support that is available 24 hours a day on all channels. I am 100% satisfied. It has been around since 2011 and has therefore been through and survived everything.

Nobody here recommends Coinbase ? I was shocked the other day .... I bought just for fun for 50€ and 3,5€ fees? Did I miss something?
