Hot question here that stands among me and my friends currently....
Do you think Ethereum will soon be worth more than BitCoin? It's a big topic of discussion among us right now and I'm sure among many others as well....
Which crypto exchanges or wallets can you recommend? I would like to trade as cheaply as possible and store them securely. (Preferably with automatic import into getquin). Which ones do you use?
Just for info, I will initially only invest/trade small amounts in crypto (maximum 3-digit), so cold wallets are not yet an option, I guess.
I use Bitvavo and am very satisfied. Low fees. If you use a ref link (e.g. the one on my profile) you trade the first 10k free of charge. Is based in the Netherlands and have 100k deposit protection on cash. Of course it's always better to have your coins in a wallet, but I leave mine in there too. Until they have grown a bit and then I move them to a cold wallet. But I also think that I only move bitcoin to the wallet. I want to hold BTC forever and am continuously expanding. Possibly move Ethereum as well. The other two positions are only for the next bull run that will hopefully occur.
Which cryptos would you like to invest in?
There is no automatic import. @Kundenservice Is that planned for Bitvavo? Would also be interesting with the staking rewards. 😏
I haven't been active on Kraken yet, so I recommend Bison at this point, it's cheap and totally easy. I also think you can leave the coins there at the beginning without any problems, which is what I do.
Has anyone compared the transaction fees on various platforms such as Bitpanda, Kraken, Binance, coinbase and Crypto.com? I'm thinking about where to make the one-off purchases and how to transfer them to a hardware wallet at a reasonable price. As of now, Binance seems to be the cheapest. I would just like to get an update on your experiences.
$EURS is run by Stasis who is working on making it fully MiCA compliant. It has been around for years and besides being possible to have it on any #etherium #wallet you can place it on some exchanges and get high APR interest paid out, currently I'm getting 12% APR with no lockups, paid on a weekly basis, try and get a #bank to beat that on your cash with no lockups. (and it aint the best rate available)
$PAXG is run by Paxos who is registered and supervised by regulators at the New York state. It stands for a gold mirrowing asset backed 1:1 with #physical #gold and that has been around for a while. Besides able to use it on etherium wallets, you can also put it on several exchanges and some even pay you interest on it. Currently getting a 5% APR (and it aint the best rate) paid out weekly with no lockups at more than one provider. Having gold and getting paid interest for your gold deposit, tell me a bank that offers that?
