Economy on 25.10.2023...

After hours there were some numbers and today it goes further ⤵️

The crypto sector continued to move higher and the $BTC
Bitcoin is now just under $34,000. There were heaps of fakenews, as if to prevent this from rising again, as the next halving is around the corner in 2024. Also the DAX stands again briefly before the 15,000 points. The market lurks, but continues to move cautiously. Perhaps the quarterly figures of the major companies can help. Yesterday there were some:

$V
Visa fourth-quarter earnings per share of $2.33 beat analysts' estimates of $2.25. Revenue of $8.6 billion exceeded expectations of $8.57 billion.

$MSFT
Microsoft beat analyst estimates of $2.65 in the first quarter with earnings per share of $2.99. Revenue of $56.5 billion beat expectations of $54.53 billion. Revenue rose 13% from the year-ago quarter to $56.5 billion, Microsoft said Tuesday after the U.S. market close. Analysts had expected significantly less at $54.5 billion. Operating profit rose 25% to $26.9 billion, while net income improved 27% to $22.3 billion. Earnings per share increased from USD 2.35 to USD 2.99, while analysts had expected only USD 2.65.

$GOOGL
Alphabet topped analyst estimates of $1.45 in the third quarter with earnings per share of $1.55. Revenue of $76.69 billion beat expectations of $75.98 billion.

$KO
The Coca-Cola Co. third-quarter earnings per share of $0.74 beat analyst estimates of $0.70. Revenue of $12 billion exceeded expectations of $11.44 billion. In its outlook for 2023, the company now sees organic revenue growth of 10% to 11% (previously: 8% to 9%).

That continues to look very good. Coca Cola is up in growth and Microsoft is doing what they do best "print cash". Alphabet is slipping despite good numbers. However, the stock has also been running very strongly since January and a few profit-takings are setting in. Visa just continues to deliver. Also today some numbers come again. Let's take a closer look:
