Somehow not much has happened yet, but on the other hand, there has already been some significant news. There were dividend cuts from $WBA Walgreens Boots, some preliminary figures and profit-taking, which have caused some unrest and setbacks in the markets.

Do you think it will stay like this in the medium term or is this just a brief snapshot?e?

There were also some statements from the FED in 2024. There is talk of interest rate cuts in particular. There is currently talk of two, which could come this year. It is felt that inflation is weakening faster than expected. However, the two cuts are only expected to involve 25 basis points.

What do you think, will there be cuts, a further pause or increases again?

One of the best-known news items from the first two weeks is that the SEC has now approved 11 crypto ETFs. These will certainly start trading soon. This could further boost this market and help the ongoing crypto hype to regain its strength. As the next Bitcoin Halving is due this year, this is already very much in focus. Now the approval of ETFs could provide some new buying power.
