Could have, would have, bicycle chain.

$GEO (+0.4%) I had a small holding in the portfolio until February. I bought this share in June 2023 because of rising interest rates. My assumption was that there would be more crime due to the high interest rates (yes, I am a pessimistic realist). As the share did not perform as I had hoped, I sold it with a minimal gain and switched into $XRP (-8.79%) and reallocated.

However, I had absolutely no idea that this company would benefit so much from a Trump victory.

I sometimes bite myself in the ass when the chart appears in my favorites. Since patience (or luck) pays off from time to time, as we have seen with $XRP? (-8.79%)

How do you handle this experience?

Do you cry over a spilt glass of milk?

No, I'm not crying. A decision has to be right the moment you make it. You're always smarter afterwards.

I don't trust it anymore either, otherwise I would be constantly busy mourning and would forget that things are going well elsewhere after all

Don't mourn missed opportunities, there's no point and there will be new ones😉 You're always smarter afterwards, I had them on my watch last year and saw the rocket launch, but that's how what🤷🏼‍♂️.

Well, $XRP has also made 160% gains in one year. 👁️

I put 412 shares at €8.35 in my portfolio 3 years ago. At the time, I also assumed that convictions would increase due to difficult economic developments in the USA. However, the actual main reason was Michel Burry's investment. He then more or less traded the share ... Sold and bought back at a lower price. He then got out completely. I stayed in and was positively shocked after the Trump election when I looked at my portfolio ...
