Annual General Meeting $RSG (-1.7%)

Following yesterday's Annual General Meeting, the $RSG (-1.7%) will increase its dividend by 7.85%. 😁

And thus slightly higher than the competitor $WM (-1.55%)

Since this is a long-distance runner anyway, it will be difficult to catch a favorable price.
If you see the share as a long-term investment, it is probably less important when you buy here.
In general and in the long term, the share price will continue to rise as the company's profits continue to grow and it has good margins.

Even a Trump election is unlikely to affect a recycling company.

@Tenbagger2024 no. Trump won't change anything. They are so involved in the American industry that they will also be pulled up by a Trump administration as consumption and the economy increase. They are also in the process of building up a network of polymer bottle recycling centers. So it doesn't matter to them who wins. What's more, growth of around 30% per year is quite something 😅

The figures are due on 24, but unfortunately it is always difficult to say whether it is worth getting in before the figures.
But as already mentioned, as a long-term investment it doesn't play such a big role.

Well.
$WCN It's the youngest company of all. What makes it unattractive is that it's a Canadian company. Stupid from a tax point of view. Although it is number 1 in Canada, it generates most of its sales in the USA.
And in the USA, $WM and $RSG have largely divided up the market. The most attractive locations and market shares - the "low-hanging-fruits" - are already gone
Although a large part of waste disposal is still in public hands, the other two players will make up the majority among themselves or buy out shares from the public sector. And Bill Gates also has a big say in the matter.
After all, he owns 25 percent of $WM and over 30 percent of $RSG. As the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation is slowly being wound up and Bill is shifting more and more into his Cascade Investment, L.L.C., which is de facto already owned by $RSG, I assume that $RSG will see higher growth.
But that's just my subjective view 😅
The fact is, the waste market is expected to grow by around 12 to 15 percent by 2050 🤷🏼‍♂️
And the players mentioned will grow accordingly 😁

$WM has already secured sites in Canada.
Unfortunately, I don't know what the situation is with Mexico

I also think that all three will not perform much differently in the long term.
All three are also roughly similar in terms of margin.
