$WHR
Whirlpool third-quarter earnings per share of $5.45 beat analyst estimates of $4.23. Revenue of $4.93 billion exceeded expectations of $4.74 billion.
$NTGR
Netgear third-quarter earnings per share of $0.23 beat analyst estimates of -$0.05. Revenue of $197.8 million exceeded expectations of $183.85 million.
$META
Meta Platforms posted a strong rise in third-quarter profit, beating expectations. A lowered cost forecast should also provide a tailwind. Third-quarter revenue rose 23% year-over-year to $34.1 billion. Meanwhile, costs and expenses were cut by 7% to $20.4 billion. Operating profit multiplied from USD 5.7 billion to USD 13.7 billion. Operating margin doubled from 20% to 40%. Bottom line profit exploded from $4.4 billion to $11.6 billion. Earnings per share increased from USD 1.64 to USD 4.39. With the figures presented, Meta Platforms clearly exceeded analysts' expectations.
