@Alpalaka Good morning. ☀️

@Alpalaka ok, cool, where and for how long is the customer's data stored in connection with the purchase?

What happens if laws are changed so that the data has to be released in order to enforce a possible gold ban?
I think a significant proportion of customers will be more concerned about this factor than laundering small amounts of money. It's much easier to do that in the supermarket.

@HarakiriTrader Storage is planned for 5 years. What gold ban? Just because it was banned by the Nazis and the Americans? Gold will certainly no longer be banned so "simply". If this happens, we will certainly have completely different problems. Incidentally, most of the restrictions in connection with gold bans were abolished in the countries concerned when the Bretton Woods system was abandoned. One more thing: at the time of the gold bans, ownership alone was not the decisive factor. Rather, it concerned the trade in gold. In other words: where there is no plaintiff, there is no judge. Who is to say that you haven't given away, lost or sold the gold in the meantime? How far should your train of thought go? Searches of the apartment? Information through torture? Sorry... you see, what I'm exaggerating here is simply not reality. How do you think the gold from the Weimar era has remained in private households to this day? And the 20 Reichsmark etc. is one of the most common commercial coins in the precious metals sector today, especially in Germany.
@InvestmentPapa Well, for my taste, gold bans have occurred quite often in the recent past, right back to antiquity.
In the Roman Empire, the Soviet Union, China, Argentina and many more.
Whether something like this will happen again and by what means and with how much success such a ban can be enforced is another matter.
In principle, however, I understand the thought process of people who perhaps want to pass on their possessions to future generations and want to conduct such transactions as anonymously as possible.
