You can argue about the amount and use of taxes and express harsh criticism, but to call taxes in general a robbery shows unspeakable small-mindedness and ignorance. Go to Instagram, where such abbreviated, short-sighted and unreflective statements are sure to go down better.
@Psychedelic_Sunflower You're right, of course. To put it bluntly, the state takes your money away from you under threat of punishment - so it's a bit of robbery somewhere too😂
@stefan_21 But you can simply go to hospital with a broken leg and don't have to sacrifice a kidney or your firstborn child for the treatment. Of course, not everything is perfect here, but not everything that glitters is gold elsewhere either.
@_xempex_ Yes, as I said, you're right of course. But how our taxes are used and the fact that we have the highest taxes in the world and the state still has to run up endless debts and devalue our currency is certainly debatable. Nevertheless, I would of course prefer to be able to go to hospital without having to sell a kidney. Would I find it better to pay less tax and take out voluntary health insurance? No Ahnung🤷♂️ everything has its advantages and disadvantages
@stefan_21 There is of course no question that our taxes are unfortunately still being misused. I work in the public sector myself, and I find it frightening what immense costs are incurred. Most people are afraid to use even EUR 100 for purposes other than intended. After all, it's taxpayers' money and if the Federal Audit Office finds out, the ranch will be on fire. They prefer to consult consultants and lawyers for 1000s of euros to check whether these 100 euros are justified. It's absurd the way things are going. :D
@_xempex_ I can imagine that very well😂 I work in the private sector and even there you can't imagine how much bureaucracy is constantly being pushed onto you in terms of regulation. It feels like laws are being made - the laws then cause problems and the next law is added on top to solve the problems. And as a company, you constantly have to comply with this in order to avoid getting a slap on the wrist from the dear auditor😂 It's really frightening how much time this costs and how much efficiency is lost😅
@Psychedelic_Sunflower No. For humorless people like you, it was written twice underneath that it was a meme. What does it say about you when you insult strangers on the internet? What does it say?
@Psychedelic_Sunflower Taxes per se are not bad and necessary - I agree. But if the politicians only spend it on shit aka Ukraine war or distribute the money abroad and cry that the money is not enough - then I lack the understanding for more and more taxes.....
@Techaktien We probably have different ideas about what humor is. Selling misconceptions as memes doesn't make them any less insane. If you find my answer offensive, I'm sorry. It is to be understood as a subjective criticism of the statement that taxes are robbery. And Instagram is the place for abbreviated, short-sighted and unreflected statements rather than Getquin.
@AE23 and despite all the taxpayers' money, American universities, for example, make ours look more than a little old. After all, anyone can study here. But maybe that's also part of the problem
@AE23 It becomes particularly interesting when, despite this participation, the proportion of academics is so low. But where will we end up if certain privileges really have to be earned😂
Don't give me such terrible neo-economic liberal statements. I can't listen to it anymore. My ex-wife And my 3 cousins worked hard to get their degrees. We all come from underpaid, low-wage families. We really had very little. BAföG was barely enough to live on I had to live with one cousin in a 12 square meter one-room apartment during my apprenticeship and her studies so that we both had a roof over our heads and something to eat.
With my ex-wife, I only ate white bread for a very long time afterwards.
End results:
1x surgeon at the Charité in Berlin
1x Economy Geologist in Chile in search of lithium and rare earths
1x Dr. of Rheumatology Neurology for a pharmaceutical company
My ex wife Master Electrical Engineer - in the development for oxygen saturation sensors in neanatalogy
And me with my apprenticeship now in the team management of quality control in the pharmaceutical sector.
All sustainable development and improving the quality of life in our society. Although they all started out totally underfunded, they were only made possible in the first place because our state helped to finance a lot of them.
And there are many such CVs. Even if most people born rich or wealthy can't or don't want to understand this and are more of the opinion that student grants should be abolished and tuition fees introduced because the elite want to keep to themselves.... 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
@AE23 It's funny how people think directly about money😂 But you could possibly understand my first statement that way. I was referring more to a general NC. So not every clown could "just try" to study for 6 semesters.
Taxes for the hairdressing of our outside hu**e. An average of €860 a month is necessary. That's the only thing that makes this woman seem serious before she opens her mouth.
I'm happy to pay 50,000 euros in capital gains tax, then I know what's left in the account for me 🤭😉. On the other hand, it has to be said that, in my view, the taxes I have to pay are very often not used in the sense that I expect for my "investment". I understand what you're trying to say in a populist way, but it's too shouty and out of place for me personally. Can go away
@trader64 polemic Is that the word you are looking for? Yes, the distribution of tax revenues can be viewed critically But you can't argue away the fact that taxes are absolutely necessary.
Taxes and social security contributions finance the secure life we know in Germany. In this respect, it is definitely not a robbery, or do you want to maintain the infrastructure and administration in Germany at your own expense? The taxes you pay for this are negligible.
@StrahlemannLP just reading about the safer life in Germany. Oweia, we have record taxes. It hasn't been safe here for a long time, if you compare it with Poland alone, for example. The cities are falling apart and we haven't modernized here for a long time. The pension system is falling apart, but wow, at least we can still go to the doctor. Other countries have overtaken us and you still act like it's a privilege to live here.
I would gladly pay taxes if it was beneficial. Instead, I have to pay more and more, taxes are rising everywhere and at the same time I have to watch our corrupt politicians throw money down the drain. There are structural problems with things like public safety, pensions, hospitals, etc. The state is patronizing us more and more. The state is patronizing us more and more and in some cases enacting senseless and inhumane laws. Input and output have not been right for me for a long time. And it's going to get worse.
Oweia we have record taxes. It feels like robbery. As a sole trader 45% tax - social security contributions - sales tax. Capital gains tax on profits. We hardly beat any other country, except when it comes to financing social parasites and asylum seekers. Moreover, we are only plucked like a chicken by the USA.
I refer to my name. Everything is taxed twice and three times, and for what? That politicians vote on their own pay rise, but nothing is left over for carers for the elderly, pensions, combating homelessness, kindergarten teachers or countless others.
Very steer in THE form unfortunately also as robbery! And it will stay that way! As long as the political leadership is not held accountable for its own interests. Or for making WRONG decisions.
