Taxes pay the wages of the teachers who look after my daughter at daycare.
Or my grandparents' pensions.
Or the wages of the police officers.
How do you come up with a statement like that?
Reach broken into again?

•@AE23 and despite all the taxpayers' money, American universities, for example, make ours look more than a little old. After all, anyone can study here. But maybe that's also part of the problem

That's what we call participation.
With us, everyone from every background has the opportunity to obtain an academic degree.
In the US, you have to have a lot of money or take out an exorbitant loan.
But still.
Public universities in the USA are also financed by tax money from the respective state 🤷🏼♂️

•@AE23 It becomes particularly interesting when, despite this participation, the proportion of academics is so low. But where will we end up if certain privileges really have to be earned😂

Don't give me such terrible neo-economic liberal statements. I can't listen to it anymore.
My ex-wife
And my 3 cousins worked hard to get their degrees.
We all come from underpaid, low-wage families.
We really had very little.
BAföG was barely enough to live on
I had to live with one cousin in a 12 square meter one-room apartment during my apprenticeship and her studies so that we both had a roof over our heads and something to eat.
With my ex-wife, I only ate white bread for a very long time afterwards.
End results:
1x surgeon at the Charité in Berlin
1x Economy Geologist in Chile in search of lithium and rare earths
1x Dr. of Rheumatology Neurology for a pharmaceutical company
My ex wife Master Electrical Engineer - in the development for oxygen saturation sensors in neanatalogy
And me with my apprenticeship now in the team management of quality control in the pharmaceutical sector.
All sustainable development and improving the quality of life in our society. Although they all started out totally underfunded, they were only made possible in the first place because our state helped to finance a lot of them.
And there are many such CVs.
Even if most people born rich or wealthy can't or don't want to understand this and are more of the opinion that student grants should be abolished and tuition fees introduced because the elite want to keep to themselves....

•@AE23 It's funny how people think directly about money😂 But you could possibly understand my first statement that way. I was referring more to a general NC. So not every clown could "just try" to study for 6 semesters.

•Taxes for the hairdressing of our outside hu**e. An average of €860 a month is necessary. That's the only thing that makes this woman seem serious before she opens her mouth.
