You can argue about the amount and use of taxes and express harsh criticism, but to call taxes in general a robbery shows unspeakable small-mindedness and ignorance. Go to Instagram, where such abbreviated, short-sighted and unreflective statements are sure to go down better.

I think it is wrong to describe taxes in general as "robbery". What is taxed and how it is taxed can be viewed critically.

Taxes pay the wages of the teachers who look after my daughter at daycare.
Or my grandparents' pensions.
Or the wages of the police officers.

How do you come up with a statement like that?
Reach broken into again?

I'm happy to pay 50,000 euros in capital gains tax, then I know what's left in the account for me 🤭😉. On the other hand, it has to be said that, in my view, the taxes I have to pay are very often not used in the sense that I expect for my "investment". I understand what you're trying to say in a populist way, but it's too shouty and out of place for me personally. Can go away

Taxes and social security contributions finance the secure life we know in Germany. In this respect, it is definitely not a robbery, or do you want to maintain the infrastructure and administration in Germany at your own expense? The taxes you pay for this are negligible.

I would gladly pay taxes if it was beneficial. Instead, I have to pay more and more, taxes are rising everywhere and at the same time I have to watch our corrupt politicians throw money down the drain. There are structural problems with things like public safety, pensions, hospitals, etc. The state is patronizing us more and more. The state is patronizing us more and more and in some cases enacting senseless and inhumane laws. Input and output have not been right for me for a long time. And it's going to get worse.

Oweia we have record taxes. It feels like robbery. As a sole trader 45% tax - social security contributions - sales tax. Capital gains tax on profits.
It hasn't been safe here for a long time, if you compare it with Poland alone, for example. The cities are falling apart and we haven't modernized here for a long time. The pension system is falling apart, but wow, at least we can still go to the doctor.
Other countries have overtaken us and you still act like it's a privilege to live here.
We hardly beat any other country, except when it comes to financing social parasites and asylum seekers. Moreover, we are only plucked like a chicken by the USA.

I refer to my name. Everything is taxed twice and three times, and for what? That politicians vote on their own pay rise, but nothing is left over for carers for the elderly, pensions, combating homelessness, kindergarten teachers or countless others.

Man man man... but that too...
Separate social security contributions and tax contributions...even that...
A statement like that leaves no room for discussion and shouldn't really be considered...
