Nvidia turns up the heat even before the numbers!⤵️
Yesterday, Nvidia with over 8% plus, went out of trading. Reason for this, were some positive rating measures. The share is close to the all-time high and knew only one direction this year. At the beginning of the year, the share stood at 130$ and now stands at just under 470$. Very surprising to me and I congratulate everyone who has been on this great journey. Anyway, Nividia is one of the companies that ran against the market. Just the last week there were big pullbacks. While 2023 is still a positive year (so far), that was quite a big pullback last week. Yesterday, this continued. Of course, this is positive for the bonds.
Also, the Fed stressed yesterday once again, that inflation target of 2%, continues to be the goal and a change in this target, is not necessary.
With the quarterly figures, it is slowly quieter. The big ones have all reported and a few still follow. Among other things, this week is still $NVDA (+3.67%) Nvidia is next. I'm very excited about that. Even though I'm only standing on the sidelines there.
I currently invest only passively in ETFs and continue to accumulate cash. My time is still going into paving my driveway. And there I need probably still 2-3 weeks for. I still have to do my normal job and unlike in many other areas, we currently have a very high order situation in shipbuilding. We now have 15 ships on order and, as purchasing manager, I have a lot to do again. It is still difficult to get some parts or we have very long delivery times. That's why we have to act very early now.
