Quietly and Unobtrusively to the ATH

I've $OHI (+0,06%) held Omega Healthcare in my portfolio for quite some time now and am up about 50%. This senior care REIT has not only performed well on the market but also pays reliable dividends. Its business model also appears to be sustainable. Maybe there will even be another dividend increase at some point.

@Laeuft It's due to the exchange rate; in U.S. dollars, it has remained unchanged since 2020.

@PoorDad Yes/No. It depends on the company, how well business is going, the general economic situation, .... there are many factors that argue for or against a decision to increase the dividend

@Laeuft Yes, and since we're talking about Omega, it has been wiser in recent years not to increase the dividend, because that would allow them to build up a larger financial buffer—given the higher interest rates and the challenges in the nursing home sector. A dividend increase might have been possible, but it would have raised the payout ratio and reduced financial flexibility.
