Your opinion is needed

I have these two shares, among others, on my watchlist.

What are your opinions on them?

$2318 (+2,31%) - Ping an Insurance is an insurance group in China with a market capitalization of around EUR 110 billion

$1038 (-0,29%) - CK Infrastructure Holdings is a Hong Kong company that invests in infrastructure companies worldwide, including in Germany

Both would fit well into my dividend strategy as solid investments

I simply have Ping An as a 25 euro savings plan, which is hardly noticeable and accumulates well over time, and I am convinced that when the economy in China is rolling again, Ping An will also reach new highs, as it is a very favorable insurer there right now.

@Dividendenflowmit60 I have now also invested an initial small sum and will gradually add to it

Ping is interesting as an Asian insurer, CK is too opaque for me.

I share the opinion of the previous speakers. Nevertheless, I find Ping An very interesting as a company. The share has been in my portfolio since the end of 2021 and is well up thanks to various additional purchases. I see the biggest risk here in the economic situation and currency effects due to yuan depreciation. However, with a weighting of 2% in the portfolio, I can live with that. For me, CNY 45 is the magic threshold below which I like to buy additional shares. I pursue a dividend strategy with a horizon of 20+ years.

Listen less to the financial gurus on insta. They only cook with water too 😉

@bullish999 I was just about to say. Wonderful coincidence, after Helmut Jonen (Waikiki) mentioned this, here is a post about it :)

@bullish999 I always wonder if people think that this is not noticeable? "Stocks on my watchlist" ... yes yes

@bullish999 Who doesn't do that? Cook "only with water"?

@finanzperpetuum What contradicts my statement? Or do you yourself not use different sources as investment recommendations?

@BockaufDividenden... and, would there also be a content-related perspective on the companies?

@Novius Sources, that's exactly the point. Then at least include the source.

PingAn is the only China investment I've had in my portfolio since 2020. I will continue to buy. I don't know CK Infrastucture.

@finanzperpetuum is this relevant to my question about the GQ community's opinion of the 2 companies?

@Novius I don't actually have this share, I would first have to take the time to look at it more closely. I have more of a problem with Asian or Chinese shares because I understand the Chinese market / shares / culture less than, for example, the European or American market. (if you can talk about understanding the market at all)

Do you know what I mean? In the past, wealth from the stock market etc. was frowned upon by the Chinese Communist Party and not welcome. Now they have changed their tune, but who knows how Xi will scratch his left egg tomorrow

@Novius if you know the two values of him, ask him (Helmut Jonen) on Insta... I personally hold him in high esteem and owe him a lot.... His cool way of reacting to everything that's happening on the stock markets is quite something....
