$STAG (+0,16%) has presented its latest quarterly figures, showing a mixed but essentially solid picture.
- Turnover (expected): 221.12M USD
- Turnover (reported): USD 224.21M
- EPS (expected): USD 0.24
- EPS (reported): USD 0.32
FFO increased by around 6.6 % year-on-year (from USD 0.61 to USD 0.65 per share), showing that the operating business is continuing to grow despite a decline in net profit.
There are several operational highlights. $STAG (+0,16%) The company was able to increase sales by around 9 %, occupancy remains high and same-store NOI continues to grow solidly. Particularly positive is the strong letting activity with high rent increases, which confirms the demand for logistics properties.
On the other hand, the decline in net profit is clearly noticeable, which was primarily impacted by higher financing costs and lower profits from property sales. This is also reflected in the current dichotomy. Operating (FFO) strong, balance sheet (net income) under pressure.
The decisive factor for me in the coming quarters will therefore be whether FFO growth continues. At the same time, I will keep an eye on how financing costs develop, as these are currently putting significant pressure on profits. In addition, the occupancy rate remains a decisive factor for me.
