2020 Bulkers - is anyone invested?

$2020 (-1,97%)

Is anyone invested in the stock and / or knows more about the company? Here is my status:

It is a relatively small operator of bulk carriers (6 vessels) for the transportation of goods such as grain, coal, iron ore etc. The company is registered in Bermuda, the management are all Norwegians (mostly old hands who previously worked for various large and well-known shipping companies). 4 of the 6 ships were sold at a nice profit, the sale will be realized in Q1 2026. My question is: Are 2 ships sufficient for continued operations, or is this a sale/leaseback deal? Perhaps new ships will also be added - unfortunately I can't read much from the news.

In principle, I would find the stock interesting as an addition to my dividend portfolio. I already have tankers and ferries - but not yet bulk carriers. 😏

P/E ratio 13, dividend yield 10%, monthly distribution. ⚓️🚢

2020 only have 2 vessels remaining. Not 6. With 2 vessels sold last October.

Don't touch this company, now it's shit-co level (that's how you call company close of being a scam in the shipping market)

Better touch $SBLK or $PANL or $HSHP

@Jo_Wolf in case you are interested in SBLK : https://getqu.in/naVODd/

@Jo_Wolf ah, ok. That was what I was wondering - whether they are left with only 2 ships or whether they have sold and leased back the vessels, which they sold.

I will then probably look for some other bulker company or into some comtainer shipping company.

@Jo_Wolf What do you think about $MPCC in terms of container shipping? Would you consider that an option as well?

@NichtRelevant Never heard of, I'm not really into containers, my thing is tanker and dry bulk 😊
but just taking a quick look at the chart and the price... That's not really appealing 😔

I've been in 2020 Bulkers for ages. However, their figures and dividends have been going back and forth a bit. My tip instead would be SITC. I've been in there for years with just under 20k euros and have never regretted it, especially in view of the dividend. But 2020 isn't all bad either.
