Dirt sheet or is there something to it?

$DRO (-3,02%) yesterday a little correction here correction there. Many people probably got out and took profits, but I have one question 🤔

@Tenbagger2024 Current example $NOVO B The analysts only come around the corner and adjust their price targets after Novo has presented its Q2 results or adjusted its forecast. Why don't they do this beforehand if they are so great?

The question is how they do their job and how well they do it.
Moreover, not all analysts are the same.
There are some so-called star analysts with high hit rates.
And some who have not earned the name analyst.
How close are analysts to CEOs?
Probably all interesting questions.
Maybe a ranking of the best analysts would help, because I wouldn't completely ignore analysts' opinions either.
But I agree with you, they are only human.
And perhaps they will soon be replaced by AI.
And then it will be analyst AI Otto and analyst AI Egon.

In most cases, the analyst can be equated with the experts in public service broadcasting ✌️😁

Back then, 2 years ago, I was a little more involved with shares and listened directly to analysts via paid share letters...

End of the story is Novo + Estee Lauder down ~50%.
Since then, I let the GQ community decide all my financial decisions via vote 💓😘

@Tenbagger2024 I don't pay too much attention to the analyst consensus.
Analysts often chase share prices, which often gives private investors the impression of "first hype, then crash".
The structural incentives in the industry lead to something that could be described as "targeted manipulation" 😐
