Sell Bitcoin?

In a very short time, I have achieved a price gain of almost 10% with Bitcoin. According to the news, the price could fall more sharply in the coming weeks. Would it perhaps be sensible to liquidate the small position now and switch to the even smaller ETF ($TDIV (-0,11%) ) ? I will most likely be able to get back into Bitcoin in a few weeks at a lower price, possibly with purchases or a savings plan. Or not at all.

If you assume that the share price will fall, then of course sell now and buy more shares later at the same total price. In addition, you are still in the tax-free area.

Whether the share price will actually fall is another matter

The news is only ever there when there is an all-time high. Otherwise you don't read anything about cryptos in the mainstream.
Don't let it push you around.

I mean, taking profits has never hurt anyone, but it depends on your risk management. And how many drawdowns you can withstand if it's not all up.

It can go down, but you can also miss out on the biggest rise of the next few years. 10% is still not that much.

Personally: take a little out and invest conservatively, leave the rest. No matter what happens, it will hurt less.

10% profit for Bitcoin is not very much. If you are in it for the long term, hodling or selling now can be ok but for the really good percentages a crash would have to come then I would get in at 40-60k and hold until 200k or more!

Not a single pleb in this app knows for sure, what is going to happen. What we do is manage risk, research IN DEPTH, and try not to get emotional one way or the other should prices rise or fall...because thats all they do.

Were you here when everyone was saying WW3 was about to happen when isreal attacked Iran? Folks here squawking about selling shares, market collapse, oil surge...etc etc.

Short answer. Hold it, buy more now and buy more again too if it dips in the future.
