Carbios with good 🗞️

$ALCRB (-0,06%) has brought really good news today and as a shareholder I can only be happy about that. However, I find it worrying or symptomatic that the financing of the plant in France cannot be secured (it has already taken over a year to find a financier for this) and there is a JV in China and they are taking care of the construction of the plants. But morally and in terms of green transformation / sustainability, we as Europe are way ahead. Well, I think we first have to put it all in writing somewhere so that it becomes something.

So as a shareholder I'm delighted, as a European I'm shaking my head in bewilderment.

How do you see the issue? Do you ultimately not care because performance is right, or does it sometimes get on your nerves?

That's enough off the top of my head ;)

Proof of concept. Hopefully the project will actually get off the ground and dispel any doubts that the technology can be scaled up industrially.
There is a lack of private funding in Europe. Due to a lack of conviction, the large companies have so far only symbolically backed Carbios and could raise the plant from petty cash.

@Brody Correct. But it's always the same dilemma. In the end, the topic of ESG, etc., is always just gobbledygook. When it comes to showing nuts, you always need the Americans or the Chinese. And everyone ends up crying again when the next technology thinks, why should I even do it here...

I was with Carbios for a long time because I find the topic fundamentally very exciting. It was precisely this never-ending story of financing that made me drop out a few weeks ago. Even at the risk of missing the train when it really starts rolling. I'll continue to monitor Carbios, but won't get back on board until there's more clarity about how things are going with cooperations and, above all, the plant in France.
