Would you let one stock become 16% of your portfolio?

Just added D’Ieteren ($DIE (-0,09%) ) to my portfolio. It now accounts for roughly 16% of my total portfolio, with the rest being mostly ETFs. Do you think a 16% allocation to a single stock is too concentrated, or still reasonable?

I would never allocate more than 5% of my portfolio to any single asset.

The D’Ieteren Group is a holding company with various businesses in its portfolio. This provides greater diversification than investing in a single stock. But personally, I think 16% is quite a lot. I did understand that one of their companies, Belron, is likely to go public. This could have a positive effect on the share price. So maybe that’s why you have such a large position in it?

@Hugo-Getquin Yes, that was one of the main reasons I started looking into the stock and decided to buy it now
